The tea box with all the tea

I am a tea drinker and like a variety of teas. So when the need came for a place to keep the tea I decided it was time to make a tea box. We planned on keeping the box in the cupboard so we decided against a lid. The handles are to make it easy to get in and out of the cupboard. I decided to resaw the dividers as I did not like to look of plywood edges and it was the first time I had ever done any resawing so that was interesting. The handle was done on the router using a round over and cove box bit. The doweled into the box.

In a hurry to see what the box would look like I glued on the handles on before I cut the keys so there went me using my box key jig! So I had to use a picture frame jig and be very careful.

The box is basswood and the keys and handles are red oak.
