Shop Specs

  • Location: Juriquilla, Mexico
  • Size: 778sq. ft.
  • Type: Other
  • Focus: Furniture
  • Heating/Cooling: None needed, perfect weather here

Or hell, depending on how well the projects are coming along. The are is 778 sq feet, on the second level and underneath I have the display area of equal size. As you can see I stole Chris Gochnour ideas for the miter saw/storage rack and plane till. Why re invent the wheel, no? :-)

Doug_S Doug_S writes: Like Singing Oak asks,I am also interested in soundproofing. I have a basement shop underneath a livingroom and would like to make it so those reading above aren't annoyed at my banging and carrying on down below. More important is not waking the wife and kids when I escape downstairs to putter around at midnight. The shop ceiling is the usual rafter/subfloor configuration. Any suggestions out there are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Doug

Congratulations.

But please spread some sawdust, so we can feel better.
