I really liked the bench by Daniel Chaffin (FWW Sept/Oct 09) and my wife wanted a bench for the bathroom.  I modified Daniel's design a little by changing the hole pattern on the legs to a heart shape.  The inlay pattern on the seat matches the tile pattern in our bathroom.  The bench is solid Cherry with Redwood inlay.  The finish is several coats of Tung Oil Finish.  Fun project.

Thanks for the comment.

Its optical. The top is tapered to the center. Its 13/16" at the center and 1-1/16" at its outer edge.
