Perhaps you've already seen Mathias Wandel's box joint jig. If you haven't, go watch the video as soon as you're done here. Because you don't want to delay seeing his shopmade 18 in. bandsaw. It is the real deal. You can see his webpage devoted to the bandsaw here. And you can watch his video demonstration of on this page. All I can say is that he is one amazing engineer. I use a bandsaw all the time, but I doubt that I would ever attempt to make one. So count me among the impressed.
