Pictured here is a small keepsake box I built for a very dear friend of mine.  A box that could never begin to hold the kindness that this person spreads.  The box is built using cherry trimed in walnut and finished with shellac.

Liebste Liebste writes: I agree with MBerger, this is a very nice design. I found a pattern in a book, "Making Great Boxes", that has almost the same design and I am working on it right now. It looks like a simple box but because the pieces are so small, it is harder than it appears. Very nice job.
