Spalted Maple slab desk with trestle base.

Found this piece of spalted maple in Woodstock and hauled it back to the city. It sat in our hallway for a few months, until found a use for it. I went to look at a potential client's living room. When I realized she wanted built-ins, I told her I didn't do that. But she had had a beautiful Koa wood table, and some nice Asian pieces. After talking awhile, I told her that I had a great piece of wood that would just fit under her window where her husband was working on a TV table. She bought this as a birthday gift for him.
