The requirements were simple: fill a wall that was over 14′ long, with a 12′ high ceiling, and hide the TV with something not too overwhelmingly massive, with matching nightstands and headboard. The solution: a multi-piece wall unit with both storage and display space, comprised of intersecting masses and shapes. Curved sides, ebony pulls, and metallic spheres, feet and accent stripes are thematic elements that were carried over into the headboard and nightstands. This installation is a great example of a mixture of the client’s needs and taste, my aesthetic, and a high degree of functionality and creativity. Creative use of lighting in the form of recessed pucks, overhead spots, and a backlight for the mirror add a healthy splash of drama.
Materials are makore, maple, ebony, zebrawood, cocobolo, glass, mirror, and aluminum. Overall size is approximately 108″ x 172″ x 30″.

- Excellent dust collection and stock removal. Must be used with a vacuum - The paddle switch was awkward to use, but the shape of the head made handling - Comfortable with one hand or two - Stops very quickly.
One of only two machines with a cutterhead perfectly parallel to its beds, the DeWalt 734 is a very good planer. And because the port exits to the left of the machine, the hose is never in the way of exiting boards. The top of the machine is flat, making it a good place to stack boards between passes.

Very nice. Excellent design and craftsmanship.
Love it! Surprising, fun, whimsical and asymmetrical - yet at the same time, solid and grounded, with an obvious attention to detail.
It's not at all my usual style... and I wouldn't change a thing!
Well done!
Beautiful piece for the modern decor. Craftsmanship and workmanship is superior, not to mention the design phase of the system.
