Torsion hinges are used to swing the mirror up and out of the way . A secret compartment is behind the drawers

This chest is veneered with Australian Lacewood and Tiger Maple. The base is soild Tiger Maple, and the drawers inside are Mahogany, which are hand dovetailed. Each drawer has a deep red wine flocking inside. Solid brass knobs.A secret compartment is behind the drawers.Earth magnets are hidden behind the edge veneer of the doors to keep them closed.
