Sleigh Changing Table/Dresser
comments (2) October 14th, 2009 in Reader's Gallery
My daughter bought a Sleigh Bed Crib that later makes into a youth bed but she didn't have a dresser to go with it. I designed and built the one shown here that mimics the ends of the sleigh crib and can be used as a changing table as well as a dresser. There is a towel bar on one end. Still it is enough like a dresser that it will grow with my grandaughters and not be too embarassing for them to use as teenagers. I use General Cadd to draw up my plans and help dimension the individual components. My shop is my garage and is shared with my vehicles, so I have to move everything to it's place when I'm finished with a project. i would love to have a dedicated shop some day.

I'm not sure they will want to use as teenager's but I guarantee it will go into storage and get reused when they have their own babies.
You have just created an heirloom.
Good job.
