Catalpa Hollow Form
comments (0) August 19th, 2009 in Reader's Gallery
This piece is made from Northern Catalpa wood. It is approximately 5" tall and 6" in diameter. I used Ellsworth style hollowing tools to hollow the inside.
The finish is several coats of clear shellac rubbed out to a low gloss sheen.
