Top open.  Lift is about 10 up and 17 out.
Shown with laptop which was why the boss lady wanted it.

36"x36" top.  solid cherry top, cherry plywood sides.  Wife specified the size and design so that she could use it to do work in the living room.  My second attempt at spray finishing.  Hardware from Lee Valley.

Kudos to Lee Valley: The prices for these lifts varied wildly although they almost all look the same and have similar specs. I wrote to Lee Valley to ask a question about their spec and the sales rep actually opened a box and measured the dimensions for open and closed! It turned out to be exactly the same as others for about 1/2 the price.
