Sata's disposable spray cups are graduated and resealable. The little appendages attached to the white funnel are adapters for guns from other manufacturers.

I spent a couple summers during my youth spraying my school district's bus fleet. Among the worst tasks in an already tough job was cleaning spray guns. In retrospect, I might have traded half my meager wages for the disposable paint cups from Sata.  The maker claims the clear, graduated plastic cups don't waste material or reduce flow as they empty like the bag-type liner systems sold by other spray gun makers.

Vents on the cup can be closed for filling and resealed for temporary storage. I'm told by the manufacturer that the cups fit most guns from other makers with adapters that come with each $2.50 cup. While Sata is well-known to automotive finishers,  the company is less-known among wood finishers. I'm told that most auto parts stores and paint shops that cater to body shops either stock them or can order them.

However, I prefer the 3M PPS products because the sealed cup/bag allows you to turn the gun upside-down or sideways, which comes in handy when spraying woodworking projects like tables or inside cabinets. The 3M cups come in three sizes which lets you adjust the cup/finish needed for the size of the task.

I love Sata spray guns. The quality is awesome and the tech support is the best.
