Shaker boxes are often colored in somber tones, but the Shakers were passionate people and could be very lively. That's how they got their name. Many of their boxes were brightly colored, so I decided to color some with aniline dyes. The technicolor stack is a bit startling, but the yellow carrier and orange box have a natural feel to them. Giving them away wasn't easy.
