After many years of MDF and 2x4 benches, I started into construction on the FWW Not-so-big Workbench. Downloaded plans from webstore and I purchased some new lumber to get thngs started. The base is red oak. This was also a great excuse to go out and get a 3/4 inch Robert Sorby mortise chisel.
Base is complete - now time to work on the top.

Threaded inserts keep grinder locked-down, but easily movable.
My work table often pulls double- and triple-duty for tons of shop tasks.
