I am a beginner woodworker. Every time I build something, I learn something new. I hope that never stops. Anyway, despite somehow convincing myself that this was maple for several months while I worked on it, it is, in fact, made of Cherry. I made this as a baby changing table for good friends with the thought that it could grow with the baby. There is a side pull out table, the shelves are adjustable, and the drawers have really nice drawer action. I am proud of that. The drawers are half blind dovetails, which were, at some points, done poorly… but I improved with each drawer. Anyway, making sawdust is one of my favorite pasttimes!!!

For instance, its hold-down is superb, as it can move to different locations, hinges for a greater range of coverage, and actually holds down the work. In addition, the saw has two points of dust collection, letting it firmly beat the rest of the field. The one downside was the saw’s laser, which was so faint we had to turn off the shop lights to see it. Still, all these pluses in a package that fits tight to the wall? That’s a winner for me.
Compared to other products, the SandNet 80 grit cuts slower. However, if you're working inside someone's home and need to start at this grit, you might want to trade speed for improved dust collection.
