Nut bowl in rowan
comments (0) January 24th, 2013 in Reader's Gallery
This is a nut bowl I turned from a large piece of rowan firewood. As the work progressed, I detected a small burl in the centre. This gave a exceptionally nice pattern in the bottom of the bowl.
Diameter aprox. 7". The finnish is Liberon Finnishing Oil.
