Lonnie Bird is the author of a number of articles and books on furniture making, including his latest, The Complete Illustrated Guide to Using Woodworking Tools. Lonnie has been a professional woodworker for more than 30 years and has owned and operated the Lonnie Bird School of Fine Woodworking since 2002, teaching classes to a variety of skill levels. He also has a passion for making tools, having developed a number of commercial woodworking products, including a molding cutter and router bits produced by CMT and Amana, and a router-table guard licensed and produced by Benchdog.
