H: 40 in. D: 17 In. W: 19 in. So far this is the first one of six chairs I started back 6 months ago. They are made of red oak and the joinery is floating tenon, same as the plan. All the surfaces are hand planed, spokeshaved or card scraped. The edges have been pillowed a'la Krenov style. The finish is Watco natural Danish oil. Although I kind of wish I had gone with something a bit more durable. Anyone know if you can go over Danish oil with a wipe on poly? I did not upholster the seat myself as I'm fortunate enought to have an uphosterer next to my shop.

I'm making a prototype 1st out of yellow pine. Then I plan to buy enough Ash to make 5 chairs.
After seeing your chair I don't know that I'll post pictures of my "pine" chair. Your's looks great.
Matthew Teague, thanks for the project videos, I've learned a lot from you.

I've put too much work into the chair to end up with a life time of food stains.
