Bowl turned from a single piece of beech on my Woodfast midi lathe. Aprox. 7". Finnished with Liberon finnishing oil and topped with shellac. The bottom surface is matte (no shellac) and equipped with three feets of oak.

(I don't have a dog, so how could i possibly predict it... :p) Seriously: I admitt the dog bowlishnes of the design, and I won't recreate it unless somone wants me to turn a bowl for their pet. Thogh I suppose the design can move away from the zoological orientation and be developed into several interesting bowls and jars with lids etc etc...

The work is a birthday gift for my sister (she neither own a dog), and I hope that when it's filled with chocolate and candy, the thught "dog bolw" will be suppressed by the need for sweets...
