I built this for my daughter as a wedding present. Walnut, frame and panel construction, with the curved legs serving as the stiles. Panels are 15/16 thick, lid is 3/4. Square-pegged breadboards cap the lid ends, conventional mortise/tenon joinery for rails. A 3/4 cove bit was used to raise the panels. Flooring is 3/4 birch plywood covered with 1/4 cedar planks. Stained with dark walnut to even out sapwood, then three coats of wipe-on poly. Designed in SketchUp.
