Legs with quarter sawn grain on four faces. The process for accomplishing that was really fun.
The drawers were supposed to be half-blind dovetail, but I didnt have the skills or equipment to do it. So I did a lock rabbet joint.

I'm a relatively new woodworker, and brand new to furniture building. I needed a desk for my new home office and I really like the arts and crafts style. So I looked around and found this plan on Plans Now. It was a very good plan, I thought.

It was my first time working with rough sawn lumber and my first time attempting mortise and tenon joinery. Both were a lot of fun.

The desk probably took me about 3 months working two or three nights a week.
