I built A couple of Small mission tables for the livingroom. They are made out of Red Oak and quartersawn white oak and stained with valspar original cherry stain. I still need to topcoat these but its to cold up here in Northern Minnesota without a heated garage. These were made entirely with the dowelmax joinery system.
