Frank and Lila Cooper’s love for nature has influenced their custom furniture making collaboration. They have truly created functional works of art. They surrounded themselves with art works of many different artists and cultures, but classical American and Asian designs are major influence in their furniture designs. Inspiration and intuition play a major role in their artistic designs. The Golden rectangle and Fibonacci numbers are plentiful in their designs although their inspiration and intuition play major part in their artistic pursuits.
All materials are carefully chosen for color and grain match. In a well thought out design the grain plays a very important role for generations of use and enjoyment. In their search for green solution they work mostly with ethically harvested and reclaimed woods that are treated with low-toxicity finishes.
In their “Sunrise Collection”, texture, color and natural proportions have integrated this outstanding, uniquelyenduring design. Each project is created with the utmost care and attention to detail to show the natural characteristics to their best advantage.
