This Lectern is made from African Walnut and Mahogany.

The top is carved with the Star of David and indented with smaller stars for the field and border.

I darkened the Walnut with a dye stain to help blend the sharp demarcation of the sap and heart woods. It also helped alleviate the unwanted yellow and green colors.

I sealed it with Shellac and finished it with a wipe on polyurethane oil and paste wax.
