The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and DeVilbiss Air Power Co. have announced a voluntary recall of about 460,000 air compressors, due to the possibility of a fire caused by the motor overheating. Recalled models were sold under the Craftsman, Delta, DeVilbiss, Husky, and Porter-Cable brand names (see chart below).
If you own one of the models, DeVilbiss and the CPSC recommend that you stop using the tool immediately, unplug it, and contact DeVilbiss for repair information.
