Critter Rockers

These 6 slat ladderback rockers were commissioned by a customer for their new front porch in their california home. In love with my Critter pieces, the customer allowed their children to choose which type of animals would grace the rear legs deciding on an owl, frog, fox and snake. The owl and fox are carved into the rear leg as a single piece while the snake and frog are carved and applied. A woven hickory bark seat and finished with polymerized tung oil sealer and spar varnish.
