Roasted Curly Hickory Shotgun Case

I’m a 19 year-old woodworker from Michigan, and this project was almost a year in the making. Everything about this project was done by hand, especially the dovetails. The wood is roasted curly Hickory, and the entire project was constructed and designed by myself, with some advice and a little assistance from my father. Outside view. The pigeon is carved from Black Locust, the hinges were carved from Cumaru, and the handle is made from laminated roasted curly Hickory and water buffalo horn.
