corner curio

This is a corner curio cabinet I designed and built for a friend. Made from quartersawn white oak. Dyed stained and shellaced. The back is solid wood. There are decorative vertical strips on the facing on each side of the shelves. The strips are one piece and overlay a portion of the shelf banding that extends onto the cabinet facing and are ebony plugged at that intersection. It is taller than it looks, 96 inches, the room has really high ceilings.
