This started as a small jelly cupboard like “Aunt Chrissy’s” and like all projects evolved into a Christmas present that cannot be done by Christmas. Its a traditional cupboard for the kitchen measuring 36″ x 72″ with fixed shelves. The wood is white pine and it will be finished with stain and polyurethane. Generally, the work is done with hand tools and finished surfaces hand planed.

Hello Shopteacher, nice work! I love the beaded frame and panel doors. I am in the process of building a large cabinet with tall doors, face frame, and inset doors, and was wondering if you would be willing to share door construction methods with me.
