Merry Christmas. My live in Santa’s helper gave me a boxed set of Lee Valley chisels. The yellow handled beveled chisels. My first choice was Two Cherries, but LV seem quite nice. Any reviews or input about the two different brands?

I've had a set of Two
I've had a set of Two Cherries chisels for about 12 years. They are excellent quality chisels. The steel is harder than most, so they take a little extra work in sharpening, but they maintain their edge longer than most chisels available as a result.
I've no experience with the LV chisels.

There is a very useful comparative review of bench chisels in FW Issue 139 (December 1999). Lee Valley came out in the middle, a little harder, but less tough, than Two Cherries.
In the quest for the ultimate chisel, one should always be careful not to belittle the chisel gifted by Santa's Helper. ;-)
Updating my original inquiry. I sent back the Lee Valley chisels, and ordered the Hirsch set. I like them. A good feel, and when sharpend properly, they can cut your eye just looking at them. I think they are a good addition to my good woodworking tools, versus my every day tools. Santa did a good thing.
