I sent a Systematic blade to be sharpened for the first time and when I got it back it cut great but it has a new “whistling” sound that bothers me a lot. I even shut the saw down the first time I heard it, thinking it might come apart or was not tight to the arbor. Everything was okay but it sure is loud. Any thoughts?

Either the problem is tensioning of the blade (this will typically affect the cut quality) or something was changed in the shape of the teeth/shoulders. Have you tried zero clearance insert?

No , I haven't tried the insert. Strange but today I used the saw and it didn't whistle as bad as previously. I will try the insert. Thanks!
The blade may be generating a harmoic due to the change in the set of the teeth or the balance of the blade. This may be eliminated or greately reduced by adding a blade dampener.
