Now that I’ve moved into a smaller house I have about 1/2 of a garage for my shop. Because I don’t have much space I’m considering purchasing some benchtop power equipment. I saw a Rikon saw for a decent price but not sure if a benchtop bandsaw will be any good. Does anyone have any experience with these smaller benchtop saws, etc?

I had a small three wheel sears bandsaw for many years, it did what I needed it to do. I built a couple rocking horses, toys that sort of thing. You won't be a ble to do much resawing but maybe you don't need to. I have a Rikon 14 inch saw now and I think the quality is there. I think you will be happy with it, especially if you are just cutting curves and not expecting it to do more than what is was intended for.
