Do any of you know where I can locate a lock like this one? My wife wants me to build a piece similar to this one and she is in love with this “cool latch”.
Hopefully the pictures are an acceptable size.
Thanks

good morning,
It certainly is interesting, It appears to be some sort of cremone bolt. I must admit i have never seen one like that. Only thing i can suggest is to do an Internet search for"cremone bolts"
Good luck,
John

Take a look here http://www.gerber-hinge.com/home.htm , they have an extensive catalog. I have used them and their products are very nice. Hope this is helpful.
Marti,
try Van Dykes hardware also (http://www.vandykes.com?)

Marti,
Whitechapel brasses might be a source, or Ansaldi and Sons.

Looks to be an container import from Europe, probably English or French. You will never find the hardware because it was custom made. You could have a machinist duplicate it for a large fee. Did you strip this piece and stain it??
Gerber has it. http://www.gerber-hinge.com/product/latchesLocks/espagnoletteCremone.htm
