I recently purchased some Bubinga wood and am planning to make a coffee table with it. I only purchased enough for the top and am wondering what I should use for the legs. Am considering maple, but does anybody have any experience with this? thanks, Bill

Use a wood you like. There are no hard, fast rules. One of the great things about WW is that you can create your own aesthetic and build what looks nice to you. Maple would look nice, so would cherry, so would ash -- really, its wide open in terms of wood choices.
Or, go in the opposite direction. Ebony legs and a bubinga top can look wonderful.Rich
Of course! His options are wide open depending on what looks attractive to him.
Oak table (not stained) with a bubinga top.
I have found Bubinga to not be a very stable wood. I mostly use it in small pieces if ueed solid or saw it into veneer for larger surfaces.
Bill--a colleague of mine does lots of pieces with bubinga and maple--I think it can be a stunning combination. here's a link to one of his pieces.
