I am in virginia and looking for a source for ash or plain sliced white oak cabinet grade plywood in 1/2″ and 3/4″ thicknesses. Any help with sources would be greatly appreciated. Most local lumber yards look at me like I have lost it if I want anything other than red oak or birch. (what they already have in stock)

When I lived in Virginia, I bought furniture-grade plywood from Allied Plywood. They had outlets in Alexandria, Fredricksburg, and several other Northern Virginia and Maryland locations. Excellent products and service.
