My question Tool Chest Contest or Tool Cabinet Contest, not to say that i would have won, i did not enter. But in the woodworking world there is a difference between a chest and cabinet or maybe not. I will leave it to the experts and i am not one. Beautiful looking cabinet great woodworking.

To me, a cabinet is generally not very deep (front to back) and quite tall. It is wall hung. A chest is short in height, wide (side to side) and rests on the ground (or bench, shelf, etc.)

To me a chest is a smaller cabinet that sits on the floor.. OK, so a chest of drawers sits on the floor and can be tall. Now I have confused myself.. Which is easy to do...
I see your point though. Thanks... I had a good laugh at myself trying to figure out what each was! I gave up and got some brandy over ice...
Ice with brandy? I like it in a snifter so that heat from my hand can really unleash the aromas.
Ice with brandy?.. Yes.. More than a few years, in Germany, I was drinking hot brandy. As I recall the big bottle was in a small electrical heating device. Big old leather chairs to relax in while drinking. I could be wrong but I think we drank it from copper cups. I think? Big mistake drinking that stuff..
Or was it Cognac?
