I have been in the market for an HVLP sprayer for some time. I found on our local Craigslist a “Titan Professional HVLP sprayer” for $500 (approx. half price acc. to the seller).
However, the cost is about $1000 for that and it is just too much for me to afford.
I really wanted an Apollo, as it has gotten such good press and reviews fro Pop. Wood, etc.
Anybody have any comments on the Titan HVLP?
I could not find anything doing a search for reviews. I wonder if it might be more for the painting trade, and if so if that would make any difference.
Thanks very much,

I have the Titan 4 stage unit. It’s about 4 years old now. I used it to spray interior trim and doors on 4 homes. One home was 7,000 square feet. I also make furniture and sprayed about 30 pieces with water base, shellac and lacquer. Absolutely fabulous machine. There is a learning curve on adjusting and using the right tips and paints. When I researched these systems I noticed that stock spray gun was the same for all. The turbine was sourced out from 2 different manufactures and they where installing them with different names. the only difference to me was the noise reduction capability. titan seemed to have the box with filters on each that would deaden the noise. The noise level is similar to a vacuum cleaner. If this one broke I would buy another

If you're in the market for a good turbine system at a decent price, have a look at Fuji.
They just released a new line with a new fantastic gun. Jeff Jewitt (http://www.homesteadfinishingproducts.com) just added this comment on his site: "Fuji offers the quietest turbine on the market and in our opinion is the best one on the market, beating out all the others including Accuspray".
Look around http://hvlpsales.com/ for lots of infos on the Fuji systems. I recently received the new gun and I love it.
The service at Fuji is outstanding. I'm not related in any way with Fuji or any of its distributors, I'm just a happy camper.
