in the current issue of fww on pg68 looking at the bottom table with the curves not beening that great could you not just use solid stock wood and cut the legs out on a band saw and sand as needed to get the same effect or does the laminations give it a better affect
also is there any place to get plans for the table

I forwarded your question to the Fine Woodworking editor who worked with Michael Fortune on the article about bent laminations. One of them should get back to you with a reply.
The table that caught your eye is one that Michael Fortune designed and built. We aren't offering plans for it, and I doubt that Michael is, either.
