What are you sawing and does the wood actually seem to be pinching the blade?

Yes the wood does seem to be pinching on the blade as the blade seems to spring back when Iv'e pushed the wood through which requires some effort. The wood I use is mainly pine although, I have the same problems with sheet materials.
yours hopfully

My guess is that you don't have the blade and fence aligned, although there are any number of possibilities. If the front rail isn't straight or the fence isn't always locking squarely on the rail the alignment will be different each time you move the fence. On some saws the entire top can be loose and shifting.John White
