I need to make some soild back crown and have never made it before, have made lots of crown before but not solid back. I have the cutter for the profile i want for my project but am having troble coming up with a jig to hold the work piece at the right angle to run it. any help would be great.

I'm thinking you cut the profile first, then cut the angles.
Assuming you are using a moulding machine you could make a carrier to hold the stock at the correct angle as it is ran into the machine. Or if you are using a shaper you could attach a back support for the piece as you run it through as is the same for a router table. But it would be safer to cut the profile as normal flat and then insert a filler piece behind it or cap off the top with a piece that continues the profile.
