I have a 8 inch Jet joiner. Recently i went through the machine and cleaned it from top to bottom and installed new blades. Now when i run a board through I get snip on the back end. What can i do to correct this?

Your outfeed table is too low. You need to raise it to level with top dead center of your knives. If you can't adjust your outfeed table, then lower your knives.

Can you hold the laser level while I shave?
Like Jeff said - your knives are higher than the outfeed table.
I recently replace my old knives and set them so that my height gauge (a piece of aluminum angle laid on the outfeed table) moved slightly (~1/16") when I hand turned the cutter head. I immediately started getting a small amount of snipe in the last 1" of a board. I reset the knives to just touch the angle - but not move it - and the snipe was gone.
Unless you have a fixed outfeed table it is much easier to just adjust the outfeed table height.John White
Not on my jointer (6" Delta). Mine has four mushroom head machine bolts that hold each knife with two adjustment screws for each. It's fairly simple to loosen the hold down screws, tweak the adjusters, and tighten the hold downs.
When I first got the jointer, it took quite a while to get the infeed and outfeed tables exactly coplaner (each table has four bolts and I spent quite a bit of time playing with shims to get everything dead-on.) Although I can remove them, I consider the tables "fixed" and do my tweaking on the knives. - lol
