I am trying to draw a wine rack with a std 45 deg criss-cross patern. my question is: can I draw the skewed grid oversize, place a construction line box around it and trim the grid to fit?
I have done this on turbo-cad, moving the box around on top of the grid until I get the grid centered up properly, then trim and then move the grid to my cabinet?
maybe there is a better way of doing it?

You can draw the grid oversize and trim it to fit but there's a little more to it than using a construction or guide lines. I'll do up something to show you how to go about it.

See if this helps.
