I have a small collection of woodworking tools, including a very nice Grizzly cabinet saw. Unfortunately, I lost my house (foreclosure) and they’re now sitting in a storage locker doing no one any good.
I’m considering selling them but I thought I’d first try to find someone who might like to have custody of them for a while. (Of course, I’d expect occasional visitation rights! 😉
If there’s anyone out there who has a shop or a nice space for a shop, but doesn’t have a nice cabinet saw, dust collector, drill press and more, please give me a call at 619-894-1518 or reply here.
Thanks for reading this.

I'm very sorry to hear about the foreclosure. Are you going to be okay?

I appreciate the concern, thank you so much. We kind of landed on our feet... found a pretty nice (year-round) deal on a vacation rental that's right on the beach. If you could see my view, you probably wouldn't feel too bad for me!Things are tough, though. Very tough. My wife is disabled and I haven't been able to find work since being laid off over a year ago. We've just about burned through all of our savings and retirement. Things are going to get real ugly next year when I have to pay taxes on all those IRA/401K dollars I was forced to withdraw.I probably ought to be selling these tools, but I know I wouldn't get much for them and I can't bear to see them go. Sure hope I can find a good home for them soon.
Sorry as well to hear of your troubles. Most are experiencing some sort of difficulties during these trying time. Hang in there, things will get better and like my Mom always said..."things happen for a reason"
I truly sympathize with your situation. It's really tough out there. While this isn't much help with your tools. Are you aware that The Federal Gov. has extended unemployment benefits? Check out the California web page for details.
My prayers are with you and your family.

I am aware of the unemployment extension, and I recently began receiving mine. Sad thing is, even though there's now some (desperately needed) more money there, my claim expires in a week. I've already inquired about extending it and was told I would need to earn at least $900 in a quarter before I'd be eligible for unemployment again.Apparently they don't realize that if I COULD earn $900, I wouldn't NEED to be on unemployment!!! Most asinine thing I've ever heard of.
Hang in there and I'll pray for you and your family tonight. I'm afraid I could be in the same boat soon. I just moved to keep my job because my old plant is on the way out. Well I get here and there is another round of cuts coming. I'm reporting to a new VP and the targets are extreme. I've wethered 8 cuts in 10 years. I think I've just about ran out of luck. We will see. All the mfg jobs are headed overseas. It's hard to compete with a tax rate of aprox 15% on business when ours is about 38-50%. You take care! Bones;
I wish the best for you and yours.

Thanks man! I think the waiting is the worst part. I wish they'd just it over with and spill it.Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
Very sorry about you problem..
Not near you by any means.. I would store them in a spare bedroom if I could! Hope you find something!
I'm living in a small one bedroom place. No extra bedroom to be had.
