Have a couple of old PC sander that used PSA paper which have a to od. Also have three or four Hook and Loop sanders
I know I cannot use the H&L paper on the PSA sanders without a mod. But, can you use the PSA paper on a H&L sander?

It will "sort of" work for a short time, but I wouldn't! In use the adhesive will gum up the loops and make them useless for their intended purpose.

that's what I figured. Anyone want a pile of PSA disks?
Stick 'em to a scrap of wood (contoured or flat) to make a nice sanding block.Chris @ http://www.flairwoodwork.spaces.live.com

Would it be proper to ask how you know that?
I to was in the same boat Many years ago, and tried to save a buck. Tried to use the psa's on a hook&loop sander. It got ugly. To paraphrase a great Native American Chief, I will never fight the PSA glue again, forever.Work Safe, Count to 10 when your done for the day !!

You can purchase plastic discs for your sander with hook and loop on them and stick the PSA on those.
Thanks, roc. I'll go searching for that disk.
