Rolling / Portable Liquor Cabinet
Hi,
I am looking for plans for what I call a ‘rolling liquor cabinet’, although I am sure that is not the correct name. I saw this one in an antique shop recently, and was wondering if anyone had seen any plans for something like it published anywhere. It was very intriguing, the action of lifting the lid also lifted up the internal shelves and brought the wine/liquor glasses up.
I imagine that the hardware would be a bit complex for something like this, although the cabinetry is probably not too much out of the ordinary. I am guessing it is an Art Deco period item.
Thanks,
Dan

When I was in college, we used a wheel barrow.
My brother made a very nice bar from a very old phonograph cabinet. The kind the whole top is hinged.
I will keep my eyes open.
Good luck

Old phonograph cabinet? That's actually a pretty good idea, I know the kind you mean, my parents have two of them and they have been trying to get rid of them for years but can't bear the thought of just throwing them out. The craftsmenship on the wood on them is superb.
I am still interested in plans though. If anyone knows where to get 'em I'd appreciate it. FYI the photo was taken in a flea market in St. Ouen in the north part of Paris.
