Wonder if anyone can help. Picture shows a bearing and a plastic nylon cup. Bearing is slipped into the cup and the unit is pressed into a hole bored in wood.
I am attempting source the plastic cup. Don’t know the terminology. What would you call it? Anyone know of a source? Bearing people don’t seem to think it is a standard product but I have seen it in use.

press fit bearing

I think that is called a bearing cup. I suspect it is specified instead of a flange cup bearing for some reason, though I can't think of why.
For sourcing try Motion Industries, Granger, or MSCDirect. Or seach the web with google - type in plastic bearing cup and then select to search for images. From there you should find a site that offers them.
Tim,
Not sure what you're doing with it, but like the other poster I can't imagine why you need it. Just measure the bearing and drill a tight hole . I built Mathias Wandell's gear-driven box joint jig, and one bearing is pressed into a 3/4" piece of oak. Drilled the hole, bandsawed a kerf from the edge of the piece to the edge of the hole. Ran two drywall screws in from the top through the kerf to close it up and secure the bearing. Check www,vxb.com for everything bearings. I mean Everything.
