Gentlemen; Some of the face frames I have are 1 1/2″ wide. How many pocket holes do you usually put in a narrow piece? The first frame I built I used one but am wondering if two would be better, though it looks tight?

2 is sufficient, especially with some glue.
CMBB, I always use two on 1 1/2 face frame material. It keeps it from rotating while assembeling other joints, once you release it from what ever you are using to clamp it to keep it flat while assembeling.

Thanks guys! With the 1 1/2" wide it sure looks tight in the maple. I will give it a try.
Any suggestions on type or brand of glue omn the hard maple?
For glue I am partial to Titebond II for almost everything, but, that's just my opinion. Be sure to used some sort of clamping device while assembling the frames especially at the ends so that you don't split out. Good luck! Brian
