Anyone have any experience removing pink (fungal?) stain in solid white ash? We milled the logs a few years ago and the stain was visible immediately. The wood has now been air & kiln dried and the pink stain persists… I’m trying to avoid completely bleaching the wood. Thanks!

I'd try a mild acid like vinegar first, see if that helps, before a stronger acid like bleach, which will work.

NO EXPERT HERE ON WOOD..
SO.. I use ALOT of white Ash. I 'think' it is natural. I could be wrong! I do not see it often, but sometimes. Maybe something like the green in Poplar?
EDIT: I forgot to say I 'think' it is just light reflection. But then again what do I know?
