I am in the market for a new miter gauge for a tablesaw. Has anyone tried the new Osborne EB-3 or any of the previous versions? Thanks, Bill

I looked at the Osborne's and Incra's and when all was said and done I bought the Woodhaven Deluxe and accessorized it the way I wanted it. At these prices dead on accuracy is common amongst the three brands but the Woodhaven seems simpler to setup and that was important to me. I'm happy with my choice.

there was a spirited debate on another forum about the Osbourne eb-3 and quality issues. I was surprised to learn that the eb-3 was neither manufactured, nor supported by osbourne, but rather through Excalibur.

Thanks for the information. It definitely sounds like there are some quality issues (not to mention ownership issues) with the EB-3. Bill
I'm not sure of the model number, but if it's the triangle style it came in second to the Woodhaven Fastract. The reason being it's too much trouble to switch between left & right slots. The Incra wasn't around yet, but for the way I work I don't need all the detented angles. I don't measure angles as I prefer to use a sliding bevel and transfer the angle directly to the mitre gauge fence. Eliminates angle measuring/setting error and is transferable to any machine in the shop.
