I have two questions. can anyone tell me why my postings don t always come up , and why don t they stay posted when they do get posted?
know, has anyone ever tryed takeing an old warped board, soaking it in water and redrying and strighting it, in a kilh?

By default, the forum software shows you only discussions which contain messages you haven't looked at. And just because you can't see it doesn't mean other people can't see it. Everyone who hasn't seen you message yet will see it the next time they log in.
Near the top of the frame on the left are the words "Show Discussions ..." followed by a pull down menu. If you select Today, or 2 Days Back, or All, depending on how long ago you posted the message you're looking for, you should be able to scan down the list of topics and find the one you started. Just now, when I selected 2 Days Back, I found your post from yesterday as the next to last topic in the General Discussion folder.
I would have to guess that no one responded to your earlier post because no one has tried straightening warped boards that way. Usually it's heat rather than moisture that makes wood temporarily flexible. Any wetting that occurs is when bending wood is incidental, or is done to get heat into the wood more efficiently.
